Last year's Collegiate Challenge trip to Franklin, WV
The Collegiate Challenge is a week-long volunteering event that occurs over our spring break. Between 16 and 20 students travel to another Habitat affiliate where they spend the week working with them. No previous construction experience is necessary! Trips usually cost between $300 and $450 for the entire week, depending heavily on transportation costs, but fundraising activities are available for the event.
Past locations include North Carolina, South Carolina, Colorado, Georgia, Florida, and Louisiana. Last academic year's Collegiate Challenge was spent in Franklin, WV.
This academic year, we are traveling to warm and sunny Fort Lauderdale, FL, working with Broward Inc., Habitat for Humanity.
Applications for this academic year's Collegiate Challenge trip will be open from October 23rd until October 31st.
Please email the Travel Coordinator, Teri LaForest, at firstname.lastname@example.org, if you have any questions, would like more information, or wish to apply to the trip.
